Novy hrad (castle) - Neuhaus - nowadays only ruins above the village Horni Vestonice. The ruins are consisted from remains of basic walls from medieval fortification from 14th century. The less known castle in Pavlovske hills. The margrave Jan Jindrich built it in 1368-76 as a border defence and as equipoise of neighbouring Lichtenstein possession. During the Hussite’s wars the castle got into Lichtenstein influence and had been probably damaged within the Hussite’s campaign over Moravia in 1426.
